LIMITATIONS

• Not recommended for applications on unstable substrates or areas exposed to UV rays.

• Superior mechanical properties: High elongation, tensile strength, tear resistance, and abrasion resistance.
• Good chemical resistance.

APPLICATION DETAILS

Suitable Surfaces: Concrete/steel reinforced concrete, fiber cement, mosaic, cement-based roofing tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal, and galvanized steel surfaces. For other substrates, please contact our technical department.

Concrete Substrate Standards

• Hardness: R28 = 15 Mpa
• Moisture: W < 10%
• Temperature: 5-35°C
• Relative Humidity: < 85%

SURFACE PREPARATION

• The surface should be cleaned using high-pressure washing, removing oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues. It should also be free from mold release agents, cement residues, shavings, loose particles, and cured membranes.

Priming

• Use the appropriate primer as recommended in the options list.

MIXING

• Mix the two components in equal amounts by hand or with a low-speed mixer (300 rpm) and apply immediately. The pot life of the mixture at 20°C is 30-45 minutes.

CONSUMPTION

• Minimum consumption: 1.5 lt/m²

For airless spray applications, especially with low-powered machines, it may be necessary to thin the mixture with a small amount of ELAPUR SOLVENT.

Crack Bridging

• Before applying the main layer, apply IYS PROOF RC 2K or IYS PROOF RC 1K to cracks wider than 1 mm.

APPLICATION

• Apply with a brush, roller, spatula, or airless spray equipment.

CLEANING

• Clean tools and equipment first with paper towels, then with ELAPUR SOLVENT. Rollers cannot be reused.

PACKAGING

• 2×20 lt and 2×200 lt

SHELF LIFE

• The product can be stored in unopened original containers in dry environments at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C for a minimum of 12 months. The containers of unmixed components should be tightly sealed and stored for later use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Contains low levels of volatile flammable solvents. Do not smoke during application, and work in well-ventilated areas away from open flames. Continuous ventilation should be provided in enclosed spaces, and activated carbon masks should be worn. Solvents are heavier than air and will accumulate at ground level. Please request the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) from your supplier.
