PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

IYSPUR 1K PU is a UV-resistant, single-component, low-viscosity polyurethane-based liquid waterproofing and protective material. It is an economical system that cures with moisture in the air and adheres strongly to almost any surface, forming a highly elastic film. Its composition is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin and special inorganic fillers, providing the material with excellent chemical, mechanical, and thermal resistance. It is applied in two coats using a brush, roller, or airless spray machine. The minimum total consumption is 1.2 – 1.5 kg/m².

Product Description

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

  • Adheres excellently to almost any type of surface, whether primed or unprimed.
  • Does not require thinning.
  • Antibacterial.
  • Root-resistant.
  • Excellent weather and UV resistance. The white color reflects a significant portion of solar energy, reducing indoor heat considerably.
  • Excellent thermal resistance: The product will never soften. Maximum service temperature is 80°C, and maximum shock temperature is 200°C.
  • Cold-resistant: The film maintains its elasticity down to -40°C.
  • Excellent chemical resistance.
  • After curing, the product contains no toxic substances.
  • Effective vapor permeability: The film breathes, preventing moisture buildup beneath the coating.
  • Special primers available for almost any type of substrate.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • The surface should be cleaned using high-pressure washing if possible, removing oil, grease, fuel, and paraffin residues. It should also be free from mold release agents, cement residues, shavings, loose particles, and cured membranes. Surface imperfections and cracks should be repaired using appropriate products.

Priming

  • Use the appropriate material from the primer options list.

Mixing

  • Mix the components using a low-speed electric mixer (300 rpm) for 2-3 minutes.

APPLICATION

  • Apply the material in at least two coats with a roller, brush, or airless spray machine.

APPLICATION DETAILS

  • Surfaces suitable for application: Concrete, fiber cement, mosaic, cement-based roof tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal, and galvanized steel surfaces. For other substrates, please contact our technical department.

  • Hardness: R28 = 15 MPa
  • Moisture: W < 10%
  • Temperature: 5-35°C
  • Relative Humidity: < 85%

CONSUMPTION

  • Minimum total consumption: 1.5-1.8 kg/m²

CLEANING

  • Clean tools and equipment first with paper towels, and then with ELAPUR SOLVENT. Do not exceed 48 hours for the application. If you have exceeded the time (for example, if more than 4 days have passed), or are unsure about the adhesion between layers, please contact our technical department.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Contains flammable volatile solvents. No smoking during application, and work in well-ventilated areas away from open flames. Continuous ventilation should be maintained in enclosed spaces, and activated carbon masks should be worn. Solvents are heavier than air and will accumulate at ground level. Please request the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) from your supplier.

PACKAGING

  • 25 kg

SHELF LIFE

  • The product can be stored in unopened original containers in dry environments at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C for a minimum of 12 months. Once opened, the material should be used as soon as possible.

POT LIFE

  • The pot life of the mixed components is 30 minutes at 20°C.
