IYS POX 070
Product Information
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
IYS POX 070 is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin-based topcoat for antistatic epoxy floor systems.
APPLICATION AREAS
- Hospitals
- Operating rooms
- Laboratories
- Factories
- Industrial facilities like textile industries, where dusting affects production
- Laboratories
Product Description
ADVANTAGES
- Electrostatic conductivity
- Easy to apply
- Forms a hard film
- The film surface is glossy and slippery, preventing water and oil permeability
- Easy to clean
- Does not harbor bacteria
- Does not produce dust
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Surfaces to be applied must be free from oil, dust, and dirt. Loose particles on the surface, cement slurry on concrete surfaces, and materials that prevent adhesion must be removed.
MIXING
- Components A and B should be mixed using a low-speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved, following the correct mixing ratios. The mixture is ready for application after mixing.
COATING SYSTEM
- After the curing of ELAPUR ANTI – AST conductive primer (12 hours at 25°C), grounding strips are placed. The strips are connected to the main line of the structure. After completing the SC 470 antistatic epoxy coating mixture, apply it to the surface with a roller or notched trowel.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
- Surfaces must have adequate strength. Concrete should have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm² and at least 1.5-2 N/mm² tensile strength.
- Surfaces should be clean, smooth, dry, and have a moisture content not exceeding 5%. If the moisture content exceeds this, IYS 003 Epoxy Primer for 100% Moisture Surfaces should be used on damp surfaces.
- The conductive system’s final coat should be applied only after the ELAPUR ANTI – AST Epoxy Conductive Primer has fully cured.
- Application should be avoided in environments below 10°C or in very humid conditions.
- Proper mixing ratios should be followed.
