MIXING

IYS POX 050 is produced in ready-to-use sets according to the mixing ratios. Before application, the material temperature should be at least +15°C. Component A should be mixed with an industrial mixer at 300-400 rpm using the appropriate mixing blade, then Component B (hardener) should be added and mixing should continue. Both components should be thoroughly mixed, ensuring that the edges and bottom of the mixing container are well blended. Otherwise, unmixed components may form a soft, sticky film on the surface, leading to incorrect application. A crucial point is that the mixer blade must touch the bottom of the container to minimize air intake and ensure a smoother, problem-free surface. After mixing, transfer the mixture to another clean container and mix for an additional 2-3 minutes. Do not prepare more material than can be used within the mixture’s lifespan.

APPLICATION METHODS

IYS POX 050 should be applied with a coral roller and trowel.

CONSUMPTION

IYS POX 050 has an average consumption of approximately 500-600 g/m² (200-225 µ dry film thickness), depending on surface roughness. Consumption may vary depending on the system chosen. For more information, you can consult the ELAPUR Technical Department.
