PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
IYS 001 is a single-component, solvent-based, acrylic-based transparent concrete primer with excellent adhesion strength. Its high durability ensures long-lasting adhesion and film thickness, even under heavy traffic. It offers superior UV resistance and chemical durability. Thanks to its fast-drying and hardening properties, areas treated with the product can be opened to traffic within 1-2 hours. It is used to provide adhesion for marking and striping on concrete surfaces. Compared to alkyd-based paints, it exhibits significantly higher physical and chemical resistance, making it a preferred next-generation primer for single-component paint applications on concrete surfaces.
APPLICATION DETAILS
Before applying IYS 001, the surface must be dry, free of dust, oil, and other contaminants. The surface temperature should be above 15°C. Concrete surfaces should preferably be cleaned with pressurized water. Allow at least one day of drying in sunny weather to ensure that all absorbed water vapor is eliminated. Do not apply on wet surfaces.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
IYS 001 is recommended to be applied by spraying onto road surfaces using automatic application equipment. If necessary, it can also be applied with a brush or roller. The product does not require thinning as it is already at application viscosity. During application, gloves and a mask should be worn.

INTERCOAT DRYING TIME
- Application should be done in two coats depending on the substrate absorbency.
- The drying time between coats is approximately 2–3 hours.
