IYS FLOOR M200
Product Information
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
IYS FLOOR M 200 is a two-component polyurethane-based mastic with high thixotropic properties, 100% solid content, and solvent-free characteristics. It cures at room temperature through a chemical reaction.
APPLICATION AREAS
IYS FLOOR M 200 is used to ensure impermeability of sports floors made by rubber granules through on-site pouring or by spreading rubber granule mats over the surface. It fills the pores and gaps, making the rubber mat surface suitable for PU self-leveling coatings. It is a flexible mastic designed for this purpose.
Product Description
ADVANTAGES
- 100% solid
- Solvent-free
- Flexible
- Thixotropic, making it easy to apply
APPLICATION
Required Environmental Conditions for Application
- Maximum humidity should be 80%.
- Ambient temperature should be between 10-30°C.
- It should not be rainy 24 hours before, during, or 24 hours after application, especially in outdoor areas.
- The surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the current dew point.
- Ambient temperature, ambient humidity, and dew point temperature table can be requested from the company. IYS FLOOR M 200’s temperature should be between 15-25°C.
Surface Preparation
- IYS FLOOR M 200 should be applied to cured and prepared substrates.
- The surface should not be damp or wet.
- There should be no free weak particles, oil, wax, or dust that can reduce adhesion.
Mixing
- IYS FLOOR M 200 is a two-component system, and should be mixed in the ratio of A:B = 7:1 (by weight). The homogeneous mixing of components A and B is crucial for maximum performance in two-component polyurethane systems.
- Mix component A first, ensuring that any settling is fully mixed. Then add component B to component A. Mix for a minimum of 3 minutes with a 200-300 rpm mixer. Be sure to scrape the edges and bottom of the container to ensure complete mixing.
- To extend the working time of the mixture, it is recommended to pour and spread it immediately. If not applying directly to the surface, it is recommended to transfer the mixture to a wide container.
Application
- After ensuring the A and B components are thoroughly mixed, pour IYS FLOOR M 200 onto the prepared surface and spread it with a metal or rubber squeegee. Apply pressure during spreading to remove excess product and ensure thorough filling of the pores.
- Since two-component polyurethane systems are more reactive to moisture, contact with water should be prevented for the first 24 hours after application to avoid bubbling.
Mixing Working Time
- The application conditions of two-component polyurethane systems are highly dependent on the ambient temperature. The working time of the mixture also depends on the amount mixed.
- As the temperature increases, the reaction of components A and B accelerates, and the mixture thickens more quickly, meaning it should be applied sooner.
PACKAGING
- 24 kg set
- Component A: 21 kg tin
- Component B: 3 kg tin
STORAGE CONDITIONS
- Store in a dry environment, protected from freezing, between +5°C and +30°C, in its original packaging.
- Do not stack more than three pallets; avoid stacking pallets for long-term storage.
- If stored under appropriate conditions, the product can be kept for up to 12 months from the production date.
